I didn't get to the computer that much this week due to not only "morning sickness" in the afternoon/evening but we had our Christmas party this weekend and so we were busy getting ready for that in between me not feeling very well.
I did get to go home early on Thursday, I was so nauseous that I was hunched over at my desk at work and my supervisor told me to go home so that was kind of nice as I got to lay down and take a nap. They really must introduce nap time to work. That night I felt kind of lazy I mean I didn't feel good but there was Adam and Liz cleaning and getting ready for the party while I just laid in bed. I know I know I didn't feel good so I should have been in bed but I still felt bad.
On Friday night we had our Christmas wine and cheese party it was a lot of fun we got hang out with some friends and got our first baby gifts a giant teddy bear and a cute sign for the nursery from Lesley and Andrew, and a babys'rus gift card from Stephanie and Kevin. It was great although another late night as Shannon passed out on our couch and we had to carry her to the car around 2 am. She is so getting teased about that on Monday at work. On Saturday we went to visit my grandmother in Marysville, originally everyone was supposed to go up to exchange gifts with her but my parents are snowed in and my in-laws dog Danny had to go into surgery this week and was coming home on Saturday so we skipped presents and just went up for lunch. I think she had a really good time. We had planned on making it home at a decent time but ended up stopping by our friend's Kristi and Gene's house to drop off some Christmas goodies and tell Kristi that I was pregnant (I think she was the last to know by mistake). So that turned into us over there for over an hour talking and playing with their son Zack.
Today we just get to rest and wrap Christmas presents. I did not get to my goal of walking last week do to being sick in the evening but if I feel better this week it is still my goal.

There is plenty of time for running around like this WHEN YOUR NOT PREGNANT! Take it easy, your baby will thank you! Spend this week just treating your self to some much needed quiet time-that is a precious commodity TRUST ME!

ReplyDeleteYou know I'm a tech idiot, and was overthinking how to respond to your "posts". I know it's a terrible coincidence that Christmas and morning/afternoon/evening sickness are falling at the same time. Just rest as best as you can and in January, when all the hoop-la settles down you can get lots of rest. I know Adam loves to cook, so just let him take care of you for the time being. All you have to do is sleep and go to work. When I get there I can do the laundry and help with meals. I'm getting very excited about coming. I've already decided that I think I'll have to come in August as well as Thanksgiving so I can go to some baby showers. I want to take you shopping for maternity clothes when I get there and I want us to go to tea. I love "tea". I miss you and wish I were there right now. See you in about a month. Love, Aunt Bevy..
ReplyDeletetesting again.
